HIV/AIDS programming expertise
TANGO’s work in HIV and AIDS ranges from measuring vulnerability, to analyzing the interaction between HIV/AIDS and food and livelihood security, to designing ways to use food assistance to support affected households and communities in high-prevalence contexts. TANGO ensures protection principles are upheld when conducting research involving people living with HIV and AIDS.

- Conducted an ex-post impact assessment review of the Regional Network on AIDS, Livelihoods, and Food Security (RENEWAL), managed by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) (2011). See the final report here.
- Developed comprehensive guidelines for FANTA/WFP food assistance programming in the context of HIV in 2007 and 2011.
