Who we are

Established in 2000, TANGO International is a global thought leader, and a technical and strategic partner of choice to governments, public and private international and national organisations, foundations, and academic and research institutions. We have offices in Australia, Malta, Thailand, the United States and Ukraine. What began with a specialised focus on food security, livelihoods, and resilience measurement has since evolved into a globally recognised portfolio across critical humanitarian, international development, and global sustainability issues.

We apply systems-based thinking across all our services — recognising that effective solutions must be intersectional, holistic, and locally grounded. Our approach is built on deep contextual understanding of our clients, their vision and the people they serve; we focus on their most critical strategic, programmatic and organisational risks and opportunities.

    We provide technical assistance in designing and evaluating school feeding and education initiatives, shock-responsive social safety nets, accountability to affected population frameworks, protection initiatives and government transitioning.

  • Food Systems Approaches

    We analyse and design food systems at all levels. This includes strengthening value chain resilience, inclusive market- based programming and other initiatives that improve equitable food access and quality.
